Los Burritos Juárez brings the classic burritos of the El Paso–Juárez border region to Brooklyn, NY. The project was conceived in collaboration with Chef Alan Delgado with the intent of offering a direct and authentic experience of border-style burritos. The project centers on food preparation as both craft and performance—creating a direct and engaging relationship between the kitchen and the customer.

The design emphasizes clarity, material honesty, and spatial openness. A monolithic concrete counter anchors the space, framing the act of cooking and establishing a continuous dialogue between preparation and consumption. The restrained material palette creates a warm yet durable environment that supports a lively, social atmosphere.

The façade features a simple expression of striated stucco unified with other architectural elements by the same warm color tone. An operable glazed wall allows for optimal natural light and air ventilation while also becoming an indoor/outdoor connection between the dining experience and the surrounding community.
